Accessory Control Display: Service and Repair
Multi-Display (w/Navigation System):
MULTI-DISPLAY (w/ Navigation System)
REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
2. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE NO.2 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 screws.
b. Disconnect the connector. Then remove the multidisplay (with panel) and clip.
6. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY (CENTER DISPLAY)
a. Remove the 4 screws on the both sides of the instrument panel finish upper panel.
b. Remove the 6 screws and instrument panel finish panel No.1 retainer.
c. Remove the 5 screws and instrument panel finish panel No.2 retainer.
d. Remove the instrument cluster finish center lower panel.
e. Remove the 2 screws.
f. Remove the 2 screws and wiring harness clamp.
g. Disconnect the 4 connectors, then remove the clamp.
h. Remove the multi-display.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL MULTI-DISPLAY (CENTER DISPLAY)
a. Install the multi-display.
b. Connect the 4 connectors and install the clamp.
c. Install the harness clamp with the 2 screws.
d. Install the 2 screws.
e. Install the No.2 retainer with the 5 screws.
f. Install the No.1 retainer with the 6 screws.
g. Install the instrument panel finish upper panel with the 4 screws to the both sides.
2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Connect the connector and detach the clip.
b. Install the panel with the 2 bolts and 2 screws.
3. INSTALL NO.2 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY
5. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY
6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization. Testing and Inspection
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
8. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
