INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY TECHSTREAM
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch ON (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / INTUITIVE P/A.
(e) Turn the clearance sonar main switch ON.
(f) Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the buzzer operates.

INTUITIVE P/A:





OK:
No. 1 clearance warning buzzer sounds.
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
NG -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (NO. 1 CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER - CLEARANCE WARNING ECU)
(a) Disconnect the A38 ECU connector.





(b) Disconnect the K32 buzzer connector.
(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (NO. 1 CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER - BATTERY)





(a) Disconnect the K32 buzzer connector.
(b) Measure the voltage of the connector.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE NO. 1 CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER
