EXTERIOR: REAR BUMPER: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER LH






(a) Engage the claw and install the rear bumper upper retainer LH.
(b) Install the screw.
2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE SUPPORT LH






(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the rear bumper No. 2 side support LH.
(b) Install the 4 screws.
4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE SUPPORT RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Install the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 8 bolts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT LH






(a) Engage the 3 claws and 3 guides, and install the rear bumper arm reinforcement LH.
7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER BAR






(a) Install the rear bumper bar to the rear bumper energy absorber.
9. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER






(a) Install the rear bumper energy absorber.
10. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System)






(a) Engage the 7 claws.
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.





(b) Install the 2 rear bumper seal brackets.
(c) Install the rear bumper assembly with the 4 clips and 6 screws.
Screw (A) - Torque: 2.0 Nm (20 kgf-cm, 18 in-lbf)
11. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)






(a) Connect the 4 ultrasonic sensor connectors and 4 clamps.






(b) Engage the 7 claws.
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.





(c) Install the 2 rear bumper seal brackets.
(d) Install the rear bumper assembly with the 4 clips and 6 screws.
Screw (A) - Torque: 2.0 Nm (20 kgf-cm, 18 in-lbf)
12. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 1 PLATE






(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the rear bumper No. 1 plate.
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
