(a) The fuel filler door opener switch is located on the integration control and panel assembly. When pressing the opener switch, fuel filler door open request signal is sent to the main body ECU RH via BEAN line, and fuel lid opener motor actuates to open the fuel filler door.
If the fuel tank pressure sensor or fuel vapor containment valve is malfunctioning, the fuel filler door does not open.
If the fuel lid courtesy switch is malfunctioning, "CLOSE FUEL LID" is displayed on the multi-information display even if the fuel filler door is closed.
HINT:
- When the difference between atmospheric pressure and fuel tank internal pressure exceeds the specification, use the fuel vapor containment valve to adjust the pressure. During the adjustment, "PLEASE WAIT NOW OPENING" is displayed on the multi-information display.
- When the battery is fully depleted, pulling the lever in the luggage room interior opens the fuel filler door.
