Luggage Compartment Door Open Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION
HINT: "Luggage compartment door open switch" refers to the door unlock switch.

The door unlock switch is built into the luggage compartment door striker.
This switch is turned on when the luggage compartment door is opened and turned off when the door is closed.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER (DOOR UNLOCK SWITCH)





(a) Disconnect the X2 striker connector.
(b) Measure the resistance of the striker.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER - MAIN BODY ECU LH AND BODY GROUND)





(a) Disconnect the X2 striker connector.
(b) Disconnect the V3 ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
