Tilt and Telescopic Manual Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The signals generated by operating the manual switch are sent to the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU through the communication bus.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (TILT AND TELESCOPIC SWITCH)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch ON (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Check the tilt and telescopic manual switch. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Switch / Data List.

OK:
"ON" is displayed on the Techstream screen when each switch is turned on.
"OFF" is displayed on the Techstream screen when each switch is turned off.
NG -- REPLACE TILT AND TELESCOPIC SWITCH
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
