DTC B14F0 - Cushion Peltier Temperature Sensor Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

Output from the seat climate control controller stops if one of the following occurs: 1) the seat climate control controller's temperature sensor is open or shorted; or 2) the temperature sensor is damaged and its output value does not change.

(a) Remove the e33 climate control controller connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU - SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH)





(a) Disconnect the e34 ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the e33 climate control controller connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU
5. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (SEAT CUSHION TEMPERATURE SENSOR)
(a) Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the temperature sensor.

(b) Disconnect the z65 climate control controller connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
