DESCRIPTION

The electric parking brake ECU receives vehicle tilt information from the yaw rate sensor via CAN communication.





HINT: *: The G sensor is judged to be stuck when the G sensor is stuck and the vehicle is driven and stopped 16 times.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE: If the electric parking brake ECU or electric parking brake actuator is replaced, perform the "RESET MEMORY" and "ACQUIRE TENSION SENSOR ZERO POINT" procedures Programming and Relearning.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)
(a) Check for DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

B -- GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART)
A -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Check for DTC.
