DTC C1A40 - ENG / EHV Device

DESCRIPTION

When the driving support ECU receives a hybrid control system or SFI system malfunction signal from the hybrid vehicle control ECU or ECM via the CAN communication line, DTC C1A40 is output.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC (HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM)
(a) Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, enter the following menus:
(1) Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / HV ECU / DTC INFO.
(2) Techstream - Select: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Code.
(b) Select "CLEAR" and clear the data.
(c) Recheck for DTC.
OK:
Hybrid control system DTC is not output.
NG -- GO TO HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK FOR DTC (SFI SYSTEM)
(a) Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, enter the following menus:
(1) Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / ENHANCED OBD II / DTC INFO / CURRENT CODES.
(2) Techstream - Select: Powertrain / Engine and ETC / Trouble Code.
(b) Select "CLEAR" and clear the data.
(c) Recheck for DTC.
OK:
SFI system DTC is not output.
NG -- GO TO SFI SYSTEM
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, enter the following menus:
(1) Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / RADAR CRUISE / DTC INFO.
(2) Techstream - Select: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Trouble Code.
(b) Select "CLEAR" and clear the data.
(c) Recheck for DTC.
OK:
DTC C1A40 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
