DTC C1A4A - Skid Control Buzzer Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU sends a sounding signal to the skid control ECU to sound the skid control buzzer.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (SKID CONTROL BUZZER)
(a) Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, enter the following menus:
(1) Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / ABS/VSC / ACTIVE TEST.
(2) Techstream - Select: Body Electrical / ABS/VSC/TRC / Active Test.
(b) Select "BUZZER*1 or Buzzer*2", and perform the ACTIVE TEST.
HINT: *1: for Intelligent tester
*2: for Techstream

OK:
Skid control buzzer sounds.
NG -- GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM
OK -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU
