DTC C1A50 - Brake System

DESCRIPTION

When the driving support ECU receives an electronically controlled brake system malfunction signal from the skid control ECU via the CAN communication line, DTC C1A50 is output.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)
(a) Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, enter the following menus:
(1) Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / ABS/VSC / DTC INFO.
(2) Techstream - Select: Body Electrical / ABS/VSC/TRC / Trouble Code.
(b) Select "CLEAR" and clear the data.
(c) Recheck for DTC.
OK:
Electronically controlled brake system DTC is not output.
NG -- GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, enter the following menus:
(1) Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / RADAR CRUISE / DTC INFO.
(2) Techstream - Select: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Trouble Code.
(b) Select "CLEAR" and clear the data.
(c) Recheck for DTC.
OK:
DTC C1A50 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
