MIRROR: OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Battery

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
- After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the POWER switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG [1][2]Removal

5. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY [1][2]Removal

6. REMOVE DOOR FRAME GARNISH [1][2]Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY [1][2]Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU [1][2]Removal

9. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER [1][2]Removal







10. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Detach the 3 clamps.
(c) Remove the 3 nuts and mirror.
