SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman): INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seatback spring, seat adjuster and seat cushion spring may injure your hands.
NOTE: If the position control ECU and rear seat adjuster is replaced, or the initialization cancel operation is performed, the position sensor initialization must be performed Rear Power Seat Control System.
HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.





1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Install the seatback adjuster with the 4 nuts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
(b) Connect the 2 connectors.






2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the seatback adjuster with the 4 nuts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.





3. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the seat adjuster with the 4 bolts and nut.
for bolt A - Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)
for except bolt A - Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Connect the air duct to the vehicle body.






4. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the seat adjuster with the 4 bolts and nut.
for bolt A - Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)
for except bolt A - Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Connect the air duct to the vehicle body.
5. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH






(a) Install the rear seatback assembly to the rear seat reclining adjuster assembly.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.





(b) Lift the lower part of the rear seatback assembly towards the front of the vehicle, and connect the air duct to the vehicle.
(c) Connect the rear seatback assembly to the rear No. 1 seat adjuster. Then install the rear seatback assembly with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
(d) Attach the 2 claws to connect the air hose connector.






(e) Install the rear clip on the top of the seatback, and attach the 3 pieces of fastening tape.






(f) Connect the connectors and 6 wire harness clamps.






(g) Connect the 3 connectors.
(h) Install the connector holder with the bolt.






(i) Install the seat belt to the seat belt guide.
(j) Attach the 2 claws.






(k) Install the floor end of the rear seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.
Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)
NOTE: Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat 3 point type belt assembly to overlap the protruding parts of the floor panel.

6. INSTALL REAR SEAT CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Installation

7. INSTALL REAR LOWER SEAT CONSOLE BOX COVER Installation

8. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH






(a) Install the rear seatback assembly to the rear seat reclining adjuster assembly.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.





(b) Lift the lower part of the rear seatback assembly towards the front of the vehicle, and connect the air duct to the vehicle.
(c) Connect the rear seatback assembly to the rear No. 2 seat adjuster. Then install the rear seatback assembly with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)






(d) Install the rear clip on the top of the seatback, and attach the 3 pieces of fastening tape.






(e) Connect the connectors and wire 7 harness clamps.






(f) Connect the 2 connectors.
(g) Install the connector holder with the bolt.






(h) Install the seat belt to the seat belt guide.
(i) Attach the 2 claws.






(j) Install the floor end of the rear seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.
Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)
NOTE: Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat 3 point type belt assembly to overlap the protruding parts of the floor panel.





9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Install the rear seat cushion airbag with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
(b) Install the wire harness clamp and connect the connector.






10. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Install the seat cushion.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Connect the connector.
(c) Attach the 2 front hooks of the seat cushion to the seat adjuster.
(d) Insert the 2 bolts of the seat cushion side into the adjuster side holes to temporarily install the ottoman.
(e) Install the ottoman of the seat cushion with the 2 nuts and 2 clips.






11. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the seat cushion.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Connect the connector.
(c) Attach the 2 front hooks of the seat cushion to the seat adjuster.
12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

13. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Battery

14. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

15. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
16. INSPECT REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY
(a) Check the power seat operation Rear Power Seat Control System.
(b) Check the climate control seat system Climate Control Seat System.
(c) Check the seat vibration system Seat Vibration System.
