INSPECTION





1. INSPECT LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the rheostat.
(b) Inspect the switch illumination.
(1) Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the light, and check the operation of the rheostat.
OK:





NOTICE:
- If the positive (+) lead and the negative (-) lead are incorrectly connected, the LED will not illuminate.
- If the voltage is too low, the LED will not illuminate.

If the result is not as specified, replace the rheostat.
