POWER STEERING: DC / DC CONVERTER: REMOVAL
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Battery
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
- After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

9. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH
10. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY
11. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal
12. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER
13. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
14. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH
15. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH
16. REMOVE POWER STEERING CONVERTER ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the nut and clamp on the vehicle front side, and disconnect the 4 connectors.
(b) Remove the 4 nuts and converter.
