SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

DTC CHECK / CLEAR
HINT:
- When DTC B1650/32 is detected as a result of troubleshooting for AIRBAG SYSTEM, perform troubleshooting for the OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM.

- Use Techstream to read and clear the DTC of the occupant classification ECU, otherwise the DTCs cannot be read and cleared.

1. DTC CHECK
(a) Turn the engine switch off.
(b) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the tester on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Occupant Detection / Trouble Code.
(e) Check the DTCs by following the prompts on the tester screen.
HINT: Refer to the Techstream operator's manual for further details.

2. DTC CLEAR
(a) Turn the engine switch off.
(b) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the tester on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Occupant Detection / Trouble Code.
(e) Clear the DTCs by following the prompts on the tester screen.
