Applicability

Introduction

Some ES 350 vehicles may experience a condition where the audio / phone controls on the steering wheel pad are peeling or have a bubbling appearance. Performing the following repair will correct this condition.

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

^ This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

^ Warranty application is limited to occurrence of the specified condition described in this bulletin.

Repair Procedure

1. Remove the steering wheel pad switch.

Switch Removal:
2007 / 2008 / 2009 model year ES 350 Repair Manual Audio/Visual/Telematics, Audio/Video, "Audio/Visual: Steering Pad Switch: Removal"

2. Install new steering wheel pad switch.

3. Confirm operation.
