INSTRUMENT PANEL: REAR CONSOLE BOX: DISASSEMBLY

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE ARMREST ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 4 screws and rear console armrest assembly.
2. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the upper console box sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
3. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX WIRE





(a) Disengage the clamp.
(b) Disconnect the connector and remove the console box wire.
4. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY





(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the console box illumination light assembly.
5. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE POWER POINT SOCKET COVER





(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the power point socket cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

7. REMOVE STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE NO. 5 CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET
(a) Remove the 2 screws and No. 5 console box mounting bracket.
