INSTRUMENT PANEL: INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD: DISASSEMBLY

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT





(a) Remove the screw and No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.
2. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT





(a) Remove the screw and No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct.
3. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 3 screws and defroster nozzle assembly.
4. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT





(a) Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 heater to register duct.
5. REMOVE NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT





(a) Remove the 3 screws and No. 3 heater to register duct.
6. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT





(a) Remove the 4 screws and No. 2 heater to register duct.
7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY





(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 6 clips and remove the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

8. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY





(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 6 claws and remove the No. 1 instrument panel register assembly.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

9. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY





(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 8 claws and remove the No. 3 instrument panel register assembly.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

10. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal





11. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 clips and 2 claws.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Remove the No. 1 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly.





12. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 clips and 2 claws.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Remove the No. 2 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly.
13. REMOVE NO. 1 SPEAKER HOLE COVER





(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 clips and remove the speaker panel.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

14. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) Removal
15. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) Removal
16. REMOVE FRONT STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER Removal
17. REMOVE POWER SWITCH Removal
