MIRROR: OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH Removal
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM COVER LH Removal
5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP INNER LH Removal
6. REMOVE DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH Removal





7. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Disengage the clip.
(c) Remove the 3 bolts and the outer rear view mirror assembly.
8. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR





(a) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the outer mirror.
HINT: Apply protective tape to the mirror body.





(b) Using a screwdriver, disconnect each connector.
9. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal
10. REMOVE SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal
