DESCRIPTION

The back-up power source circuit for the A/C amplifier is shown below. Power is supplied even when turning the power switch OFF and is used for diagnostic trouble code memory, etc.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUSE (A/C)
(a) Remove the A/C fuse from the main body ECU LH.
(b) Measure the resistance of the fuse.
Standard resistance:
Below 1 Ohms
NG -- CHECK FOR SHORT IN ALL HARNESSES AND COMPONENTS CONNECTED TO FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER - BATTERY)




(a) Disconnect the K52 A/C amplifier connector.
(b) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
