AUDIO / VISUAL: STEERING PAD SWITCH: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY





(a) Engage the 2 claws and pin and install the steering pad switch assembly.
(b) Install the screw.
Torque: 2.4 Nm (24 kgf-cm, 21in-lbf)





(c) Engage the 2 claws and pin and install the steering pad switch assembly.
(d) Install the screw.
Torque: 2.4 Nm (24 kgf-cm, 21in-lbf)
2. INSTALL LOWER STEERING WHEEL BOSS COVER





(a) Engage the 2 claws.
(b) Install the lower steering wheel boss cover with the 2 screws.
3. INSTALL STEERING SHAKE DAMPER





(a) Install the steering shake damper with the 2 screws.
(b) Engage the 2 harness clamps.
4. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH Installation
5. ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE WITH STEERING SENSOR Installation
6. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY Installation
7. INSTALL STEERING PAD Installation
8. INSTALL LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER
9. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER
10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

11. INSPECT STEERING PAD Installation
12. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
