EXTERIOR: FRONT BUMPER: REASSEMBLY

REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

(a) Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 6 bolts.
Torque: 70 Nm (714 kgf-cm, 52 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the cooler (ambient temperature sensor) thermistor with the bolt.
(c) Install the radiator support opening cover with the 2 clips.
2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

(a) Install the front bumper energy absorber.
3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper side retainer LH.
(b) Install the screw.
4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

5. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the 2 front fender liner retainers.
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper cover.
7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GUARD COVER LH

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the front bumper guard cover LH.
8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GUARD COVER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

9. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Engage the 16 claws and install the lower radiator grille.
10. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Engage the 6 claws and install the radiator grille.

(b) Install the 2 clips.
11. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 8 claws and install the radiator grille assembly.

(b) Engage the 6 claws.

(d) Install the 2 clips.
12. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
HINT:
When installing the radiator grille emblem, heat the vehicle body and radiator grille emblem using a heat light.

Heating temperature:

NOTE:
Do not heat the vehicle body and radiator grille emblem excessively.

(a) Clean the vehicle body surface.
(1) Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.
(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.
(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
(b) Clean the radiator grille emblem (if reusing the radiator grille emblem).
(1) Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille emblem.
(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the radiator grille emblem.
(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
(4) Apply new double-sided tape to the radiator grille emblem.
(c) Install the radiator grille emblem.
(1) Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and radiator grille emblem.
(2) Remove the release paper from the radiator grille emblem.
HINT:
After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

(3) Install the radiator grille emblem.
13. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

(a) Engage the claw and install the radiator grille emblem.
(b) Install the 2 spring nuts.
14. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR

(a) Engage the 13 claws and install the radiator grille protector.
15. INSTALL HEADLIGHT HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

(a) Engage the 5 clamps and install the headlight hose.
16. INSTALL NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ Clearance Sonar System)

(a) Engage the 7 clamps and install the No. 4 engine room wire.
17. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) Installation
18. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

19. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) Installation
20. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

21. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Clearance Sonar System) Installation
22. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH Installation
23. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
