EXTERIOR: REAR BUMPER: REASSEMBLY

REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the grommet to the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.





(b) Engage the 2 claws and install the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 8 bolts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT LH





(a) Engage the 3 claws and install the rear bumper arm reinforcement LH.
3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM REINFORCEMENT RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

4. INSTALL REAR SIDE BUMPER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Install the rear side bumper sub-assembly LH with the 4 bolts.
5. INSTALL REAR SIDE BUMPER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER BAR





(a) Install the rear bumper bar to the rear bumper energy absorber.
7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER





(a) Install the rear bumper energy absorber.
8. INSTALL UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER LH





(a) Install the upper rear bumper retainer LH with the 2 screws.
9. INSTALL UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

10. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH





(a) Install the No. 2 rear bumper side support LH with the 2 screws.
11. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

12. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH





(a) Install the No. 1 rear bumper side support LH with the 2 screws and clip.
13. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

14. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR LH
(a) Install a new rear bumper protector LH.
15. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR RH
(a) Install a new rear bumper protector RH.
16. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PAD LH





(a) Install a new rear bumper pad LH.
HINT:
Stick the new rear bumper pad LH on the line marked on the rear bumper assembly.

17. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PAD RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

18. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH





(a) Install the No. 2 rear bumper side retainer LH with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 2.9 Nm (30 kgf-cm, 26 in-lbf)
19. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

20. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Engage the claw and install the reflex reflector assembly LH.
21. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

22. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PIECE LH





(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the rear bumper piece LH.
23. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PIECE RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

24. INSTALL NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ Clearance Sonar System)
25. INSTALL NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Clearance Sonar System) Installation
26. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Clearance Sonar System) Installation
