The No. 1 meter ECU receives the power meter signal from the hybrid vehicle ECU via the CAN line.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
(a) Check for the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

Result:





C -- Go to HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM
B -- Go to CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A -- Continue to next step.
2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (POWER METER)
(a) Operate the Techstream according to the display and select "Active Test".

Combination Meter:





OK:
Needle indication is normal.
NG -- REPLACE No. 1 METER ECU
OK -- Go to HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM
