TC and CG Terminal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

DTC output mode is set by connecting terminals 13 (TC) and 4 (CG) of the DLC3. The DTCs are indicated by the blinking of the tire pressure warning light.

HINT: When each warning light blinks continuously, a ground short in the wiring of terminal TC of the DLC3 or an internal ground short in each ECU is suspected.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DLC3 - ECM AND BODY GROUND)




(a) Disconnect the A13 ECM connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT DLC3 (TC VOLTAGE)
(a) Connect the A13 ECM connector.




(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPLACE ECM
OK -- CHECK ECU POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT
