PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
Perform RESET MEMORY when replacing the hybrid vehicle transmission assembly or hybrid vehicle control ECU Programming and Relearning.
HINT: RESET MEMORY cannot be completed by only disconnecting the battery cable.

1. Before removing the hybrid vehicle transmission assembly, remove all dirt or foreign objects on the transmission to prevent them from entering when removing or reinstalling the transmission.
2. Do not allow water or foreign objects to enter the terminal connectors, the terminals on the motor cable and generator cable, or the terminals on the transmission.
3. Keep removed parts in order and protect them from dirt or other foreign objects.
4. During regular service intervals, it is not necessary to check the ATF level. However, an ATF level check is necessary if any of the following conditions is met.

- Any signs of fluid leaks are found.
- The hybrid vehicle transmission assembly has been replaced.
- An oil cooler hose has been disconnected.
