L110F HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: OIL PUMP MOTOR CONTROLLER: REMOVAL
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
2. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Removal
3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal
4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
- After the power switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. Therefore, after turning the power switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal
7. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal
8. REMOVE OIL PUMP MOTOR CONTROLLER
CAUTION:
Be sure to perform the procedure as described below. Do not turn the power switch on (READY) before reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.
(a) Release the lock on the connector.
(b) Release the lock lever on the connector as shown in the illustration. Disconnect the connector from the oil pump motor controller.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the connector, do not apply excessive force to the wire harness.
(c) Disconnect the connector from the oil pump motor controller.
(d) Pull the lever to release the lock on the connector.
(e) Release the lock lever on the connector as shown in the illustration. Disconnect the connector from the oil pump motor controller.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the connector, do not apply excessive force to the wire harness.
(f) Remove the 2 bolts and separate the oil pump motor controller with bracket from the vehicle.
- Do not drop the oil pump motor controller.
- When separating the oil pump motor controller, do not apply excessive force to the wire harness clamp located on the bracket.
(g) Disconnect the clamp.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the clamp, do not apply excessive force to the wire harness.
(h) Remove the 3 bolts and oil pump motor controller.
