1. INSPECT POWER SWITCH





(a) Measure the resistance of the switch.

Standard resistance:





(a) If the result is not as specified, replace the power switch.

(b) Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the switch, and check the illumination condition of the switch.

HINT
* If the positive (+) lead and the negative (-) lead are incorrectly connected, the power switch indicator does not illuminate.
* If the voltage is too low, the indicator will not illuminate.

OK:









(b) If the result is not as specified, replace the power switch.
