Removal
SUSPENSION: FRONT STABILIZER BAR: REMOVAL
1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER
3. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the 2 nuts and the front stabilizer link.
HINT
If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud.
4. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH
HINT
Remove the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.
5. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR LH
(a) Remove the bolt and under cover.
6. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR RH
HINT
Remove the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.
7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 STABILIZER BRACKET LH
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and bracket LH from the front suspension crossmember.
8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 STABILIZER BRACKET RH
HINT
Remove the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.
9. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH
(a) Remove the 4 bolts and bracket LH from the frame.
10. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH
HINT
Remove the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.
11. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSH
(a) Remove the 2 front stabilizer bar No. 1 bushes from the front stabilizer bar.
12. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR
(a) Remove the front stabilizer bar from the vehicle.
