Applicability

Introduction

As a result of the removal of the DCC fuse, the "one-touch open and close" and "jam protection" functions of each door's power window will be inoperative due to loss of the power window position memory stored in the microcomputer.

Initialize each door's power window after installing the DCC fuse into its original location during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).

Any time the battery terminal has been disconnected, the power window for each door MUST be initialized.

Initialization Procedure

1. Without depressing the brake pedal, push the engine "POWER" switch twice to select the "IG-ON" mode.

When not initialized, the power window switch for the driver's door window will blink.

2. Push "DOWN" and hold the driver's door power window switch to completely open the window.

3. Pull "UP" and hold the driver's door power window switch until the window closes. Continue holding the switch until the switch stops blinking and remains illuminated.

NOTE

Jam protection function is enabled through the above initialization procedure.

4. Check for the proper operation of the "one-touch open and close" function by fully pushing the switch "DOWN" once and fully pulling the switch "UP" once.

5. Repeat steps 2 - 4 on the power window switch for each door.

6. Check that the power window switch light for each door remains illuminated.
