Removal

L110 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: OIL PUMP MOTOR CONTROLLER: REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Be sure to perform the procedure as described below. Do not turn the power switch on (READY) before the cable is connected to the negative battery terminal.

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal

6. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

8. SEPARATE NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE Removal

9. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE Removal

10. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE Removal

11. REMOVE OIL PUMP MOTOR CONTROLLER

(a) Release the lock of the connector.

(b) Release the lock lever of the connector as shown in the illustration. Disconnect the connector from the oil pump motor controller.

(e) Release the lock of the connector.

(f) Release the lock lever of the connector as shown in the illustration. Disconnect the connector from the oil pump motor controller.

(g) Remove the 2 bolts, clamp and oil pump motor controller with bracket.

NOTICE:
Do not drop the oil pump motor controller.

(h) Remove the 3 bolts and oil pump motor controller.
