Installation

EXTERIOR: FRONT BUMPER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper side retainer LH.





(b) Install the screw.

2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT (w/o Headlight Cleaner System)

(a) Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 6 bolts.

Torque : 70 Nm (714 kgf-cm, 52 ft-lbf)





(b) Engage the clamp and install the cooler thermistor to the front bumper reinforcement.

4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

(a) Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 6 bolts.

Torque : 70 Nm (714 kgf-cm, 52 ft-lbf)





(b) Engage the clamp and install the cooler thermistor to the front bumper reinforcement.

(c) Engage the 5 clamps and install the headlight cleaner hose.





5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

(a) Install the front bumper energy absorber to the front bumper reinforcement.





6. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER

(a) Engage the 4 clips and install the radiator support opening cover.





(b) Install the 2 clips.

7. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 2WD)

(a) Install the engine under cover with the 3 clips and 10 screws.





8. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 4WD)

(a) Install the engine under cover with the 3 clips and 6 screws.





9. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

(a) Put protective tape around the front bumper and headlight.





(b) Connect each connector, and then install the front bumper assembly.

(c) Engage the 2 claws.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(d) Install the 2 clips, 5 bolts and 10 screws.

Bolt - Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)





(e) Install the 2 pin hold clips.





NOTICE:
Make sure that the groove on the pin hold clip is positioned vertically.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(f) Install the 2 screws.

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

10. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

(a) Install the cool air intake duct seal with the 7 clips.





11. PUT VEHICLE IN THESE CONDITIONS Adjustments

12. ADJUST FOG LIGHT AIM Adjustments
