ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR: INSTALLATION

HINT
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart. Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts

1. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOORS STRIKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the connector.

(b) Install the striker with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

2. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER RH

(a) Install the trim cover and the 3 clips.

(b) Install the hook and the bolt.

3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LH

(a) Install the trim cover and the 3 clips.

(b) Install the hook and the bolt.

4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT

(a) Attach the 4 claws with the trim cover.

(b) Attach the hook.

5. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

(a) Install the finish plate with the 4 clips.

(b) Install the 3 clips labelled A.

(c) Install the 2 bolts and 2 hooks on the both side.

6. INSTALL TOOL BOX

(a) Install the tool box.

7. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation

8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

(a) Install the floor mat.

9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

10. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation

11. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation

12. INSTALL TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY Installation

13. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

14. INSTALL REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

15. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the opening switch and the 2 screws to the luggage compartment door.

(b) Connect the connector.

16. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the connect.

(b) Install the lock cylinder and the 2 nuts.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

17. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the connect.

(b) Install the door closer and the 2 bolts.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

18. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK OPENER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the door lock opener and the screw.

19. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK OPENER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the cover and the 10 clips.

20. INSTALL DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL

(a) Install the bezel and attach the 4 claws.

21. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP

(a) Install the assist grip and the 2 screws.

(b) Attach the 4 claws to install the cover.

22. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

23. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Preform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.

Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
