Reassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE

(a) Connect each clamp and connector to install the front seat wire.

2. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Connect the ECU connector.

(b) Install the ECU with the 2 nuts.

3. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

(a) Connect the connector and attach the clamp.

4. INSTALL SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side) Installation

5. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Engage the 2 hooks and temporarily install the seat climate control blower. (1)

(b) Install the seat climate control blower with the screw as shown in the illustration. (2)

(c) Connect the connector.

6. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL DUCT (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Engage the 2 claws.

(b) Engage the 2 clamps (B) in the direction indicated by the arrow (1).

(c) Engage the 2 clamps (A) in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) and install the seat cushion climate control duct.

7. INSTALL SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Using a T30 ''TORX'' socket, install the seatback climate control blower and the seatback climate control cover to the seat frame with the 6 bolts.

(b) Connect the connector.

(c) Engage the 3 clamps.

8. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Install the lumbar support adjuster assembly with the 2 screws.

(c) Connect the connector.

(d) Engage the 8 hooks to install the front seatback spring.

9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

(a) Engage the hook.

(b) Install the front seat lower cushion shield LH with the screw.

10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

(a) Engage the hook.

(b) Install the front seat lower cushion shield RH with the screw.

11. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH UPPER

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH upper with the screw.

12. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH UPPER

(a) Engage the claw.

(b) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH upper with the screw.

13. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH LOWER

(a) Engage the claw.

(b) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH lower with the 2 screws.

14. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH LOWER

(a) Engage the claw.

(b) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH lower with the 2 screws.

15. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT

CAUTION:
When the active headrest is deployed, replace the front seat headrest assembly, No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly and active headrest lower unit.

(a) Install the active headrest lower unit with the 2 new nuts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

16. INSTALL NO. 2 SEAT ADJUSTER CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
When the active headrest is deployed, replace the front seat headrest assembly, No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly and active headrest lower unit.

(a) Engage the 3 clamps to install the connector clamp.

(b) As shown in the illustration, align the adjuster guide pin and guide slit, and insert the No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly into the front seatback support cover RH.

(c) As shown in the illustration, compress the spring of the No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly and insert it to the guide slit of the front seatback support cover RH.

(d) As shown in the illustration, insert the adjuster guide pin to the groove end by following the guide slit to install the No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly.

NOTICE:
* Make sure that the adjuster guide pin is in contact with the groove end.
* After installing the No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly, slightly pull it outwards to check that it is connected securely.
(e) As shown in the illustration, pull out the push rod of the No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly.

(f) Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly with front seatback support cover.

(g) Push the push rod to the lower limit position.

NOTICE:
Do not push in the push rod forcibly.

(h) Engage the clamp to install the No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly.

(i) Engage the 2 cable clamps.

(j) Engage the 6 claws to install the seatback plate.

17. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a tacker, install the front seatback heater assembly with 7 new tack pins.

18. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with 9 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
(b) Install the 2 clips.

19. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Install the separate type front seatback cover with pad to the seat frame.

(b) Engage the 2 hooks.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

CAUTION:
* For vehicles with side airbags, the seatback cover must be securely installed. Otherwise, the side airbags may not deploy properly.
* Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.
* Install the bracket securely.
(d) Engage the 7 hooks.

(e) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover with pad to the seat frame with 5 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
(f) Using hog ring pliers, install the 3 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
(g) Connect the connector.

20. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Install the front seatback cover with the 2 screws.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

21. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the front seat headrest support.

22. INSTALL NO. 2 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the 2 No. 2 interior illumination light assembly.

23. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the front seatback board sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

24. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a tacker, install the front seat cushion heater assembly with 34 new tack pins.

25. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with14 new hog rings.

(b) Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
26. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad to the seat frame.

(b) Install the 2 clips.

(c) Engage the hooks.

(d) Connect each connector and clamp.

27. INSTALL POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Position Memory System)

(a) Install the position control ECU and switch assembly with the 3 screws.

(b) Connect the 2 connectors.

28. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/o Seat Position Memory System)

(a) Connect the connector.

(b) Install the switch with the 3 screws.

29. INSTALL SEAT TRACK SPACER LOWER INNER

(a) Install the seat track spacer lower inner with the 2 screws.

30. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER

(a) Engage the claw.

(b) Engage the clip.

(c) Install the front seat cushion shield inner with the screw.

31. INSTALL SEAT TRACK SPACER LOWER OUTER

(a) Install the seat track track spacer lower outer with the 2 screws.

32. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT LUMBAR SWITCH

(a) Install the front power seat lumbar switch to the front seat cushion shield with the 2 screws.

33. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER

(a) Install the No. 1 front seat cushion shield inner with the 2 screws.

34. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the connector to the lumbar front power seat switch.

(b) Engage the claw.

(c) Install the front seat cushion shield assembly with the 7 screws.

(d) Connect the connector to the No. 2 interior illumination light.

(e) Connect the 3 rubber bands of the front seatback board to the seat frame.

35. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

(a) Install the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

36. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

(a) Install the reclining power seat switch knob.

37. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Installation

38. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
When the active headrest is deployed, replace the front seat headrest assembly, No. 2 seat adjuster control cable assembly and active headrest lower unit.

(a) Install the pin.

(b) Engage the 2 claws to install a new front seat headrest support cover.
