DESCRIPTION

The center instrument cluster finish panel assembly (multi-display portion) opens, closes and tilts the multi-display according to the operation of the "OPEN/CLOSE" and "TILT" switches of the multi-display switch built into the telltale light assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT TELLTALE LIGHT ASSEMBLY (MULTI-DISPLAY SWITCH)

(a) Disconnect the F74 telltale light assembly connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE TELLTALE LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

(a) Disconnect the F74 telltale light assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the F72 center instrument cluster finish panel assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
