EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: REAR BUMPER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE LH

(a) Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear bumper piece LH.

2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY

(a) Put protective tape around the rear bumper assembly.

(b) Using a clip remover, remove the 7 clips.





(c) Remove the 2 screws.

(d) Remove the screw.

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(e) Disengage the claw.

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(f) Disengage the 7 claws as shown in the illustration.

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(g) Disconnect the connector. (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

(h) Disengage the 6 claws and remove the rear bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
