Disassembly

DOOR / HATCH: HOOD: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE HOOD TO RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

(a) Using a clip remover, disengage the 4 clips and remove the hood to radiator support seal.





2. REMOVE HOOD INSULATOR

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 7 clips.





(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the hood insulator.

3. REMOVE WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. DISCONNECT WASHER HOSE ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 7 clips and disconnect the washer hose assembly.





5. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

6. REMOVE HOOD SUPPORT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

7. REMOVE HOOD SUPPORT ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

8. REMOVE HOOD STAY BRACKET LH Removal

9. REMOVE HOOD STAY BRACKET RH
