Reassembly

INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: ROOF HEADLINING: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF WIRE

(a) Apply double-sided tape as shown in the illustration below.

(b) Peel off the release paper from the double-sided tape.

(c) Apply the double-side tape along the center marking as shown in the illustration. Do not cross the outer markings.

(d) Align the pink marking tape (A) on the No. 1 roof wire with the vehicle front side tab on the roof headlining, and apply adhesive tape.

HINT
For this step and the following steps refer to the illustration below.

(e) Align the joint box with the roof headlining marking, and secure it using the tape.

(f) Align the pink marking tape (B) on the No. 1 roof wire with the markings on the roof headlining.

HINT
Align the end of the pink marking tape (B) with the longer marking, and apply adhesive tape.

(g) Attach the No. 1 roof wire, starting from the pink marking tape (B), while aligning it with the double-sided tape.

NOTICE:
* Securely attach the No. 1 roof wire.
* If any of the No. 1 roof wire is left loose, this will cause abnormal noise. Make sure to attach the No. 1 roof wire without leaving any of it loose.
(h) Engage the 4 clamps.

(i) Turn the visor connector RH clockwise approximately 90° to install it to the roof headlining assembly.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

(j) Attach the No. 1 roof wire, starting from the visor connector RH, while aligning it with the double-sided tape.

NOTICE:
* Securely attach the No. 1 roof wire.
* If any of the No. 1 roof wire is left loose, this will cause abnormal noise. Make sure to attach the No. 1 roof wire without leaving any of it loose.
(k) Align the pink marking tape (C) on the No. 1 roof wire with the markings on the roof headlining.

(l) Attach the No. 1 roof wire, starting from the pink marking tape (C), while aligning it with the double-sided tape.

NOTICE:
* Securely attach the No. 1 roof wire.
* If any of the No. 1 roof wire is left loose, this will cause abnormal noise. Make sure to attach the No. 1 roof wire without leaving any of it loose.
HINT
Secure the extra length of the No. 1 roof wire in adjustment area <1>.

(m) Align the pink marking tape (D) on the No. 1 roof wire with the markings on the roof headlining.

(n) Attach the No. 1 roof wire, starting from the pink marking tape (D), while aligning it with the double-sided tape.

NOTICE:
* Securely attach the No. 1 roof wire.
* If any of the No. 1 roof wire is left loose, this will cause abnormal noise. Make sure to attach the No. 1 roof wire without leaving any of it loose.
HINT
Secure the extra length of the No. 1 roof wire in adjustment area <2>.
