Front Power Seat Control System (w/ Memory)

SEAT: FRONT POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Memory): TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH





(a) Disconnect the T10 and T9 connectors from the front power seat switch LH.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the T10 and T9 switch connectors.

(e) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(f) If the result is not as specified, the front power seat switch LH may have a malfunction.

2. CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (DRIVER SIDE)





(a) Disconnect the I8 connector from the outer mirror control ECU assembly (driver side).

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the I8 connector to the outer mirror control ECU assembly (driver side).

(e) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(f) If the result is not as specified, the outer mirror control ECU assembly (driver side) may have a malfunction.

3. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)





(a) Disconnect the 2C, 2E and 2B connectors from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the 2C, 2E and 2B instrument panel junction block assembly connectors.

(e) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
