Oil Pressure Sender: Testing and Inspection

2AZ-FXE LUBRICATION: OIL PRESSURE SWITCH: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the oil pressure switch assembly connector.

(b) Set the engine in inspection mode Component Tests and General Diagnostics.

(c) Start the engine.

(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard Resistance:





(e) If the result is not as specified, replace the oil pressure switch assembly.

(f) Reconnect the oil pressure switch assembly connector.
