B1475
AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM: B1475/75: A/C Inverter Cooling / Heating System Malfunction
B1475/75 - A/C Inverter Cooling / Heating System Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
The temperature sensor of the compressor with motor assembly detects the inverter temperature.
If the temperature exceeds the maximum, the compressor with motor assembly stops compressor operation, and this DTC will be output.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
(a) Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.
Result
B -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM How to Proceed With Troubleshooting
A -- Continue to next step.
2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (ELECTRICAL FAN)
(a) Select the Active Test, using the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the electrical fan operates.
Air Conditioner
OK:
Electrical fan operates smoothly.
NG -- GO TO COOLING FAN SYSTEM Cooling Fan Circuit
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK REFRIGERANT PRESSURE
(a) Install the manifold gauge set Refrigerant.
(b) Read the manifold gauge pressure when the following conditions are established.
(1) Prepare the vehicle according to the table below.
Standard pressure:
Low pressure side
0.15 to 0.25 MPa (1.5 to 2.5 kgf/cm2)
High pressure side
1.37 to 1.57 MPa (14 to 16 kgf/cm2)
NG -- CHARGE REFRIGERANT Service and Repair
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. READ OUTPUT DTC (DTC B1475)
(a) Clear the DTCs DTC Check / Clear.
(b) Prepare the vehicle according to the table below.
(c) Check for DTCs DTC Check / Clear.
Result
NOTICE:
If the engine keeps idling when ambient temperature is high, the compressor may automatically stop to protect the inverter circuit, and DTC B1475 may be stored.
B -- REPLACE COMPRESSOR WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY Removal
A -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
