DESCRIPTION

This DTC B2281 is output when there is an abnormal circuit between the main body ECU and the shift lock control ECU.

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING THE TECHSTREAM (SHIFT P SIGNAL)

(a) Use the Data List to check if the shift position is functioning properly.

B -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
A -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU





(a) Disconnect the L47 shift lock control ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPLACE TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY (SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU) Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU, BODY GROUND)





(a) Disconnect the A68 main body ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the L47 shift lock control ECU connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
