C1203/95 - HV ECU Communication Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The circuit is used to send TR(A)C and VSC control information from the skid control ECU to the hybrid vehicle control ECU, and hybrid control information from the hybrid vehicle control ECU to the skid control ECU via the CAN communication system.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
- If the hybrid vehicle control ECU has been replaced, it is necessary to register the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) into the ECU Programming and Relearning.
- When replacing the skid control ECU, perform the following operations:
* Initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration Initialization
* Yaw rate and acceleration sensor zero point calibration Calibration

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK PART NUMBER (SKID CONTROL ECU AND HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU)

(a) Check that the proper skid control ECU and hybrid vehicle control ECU are installed.

NG -- REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU AND HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU WITH PROPER ONES
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. RECONFIRM DTC

(a) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(b) Turn the power switch ON (IG).

(c) Check if the same DTC is recorded Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

HINT
Reinstall the sensors, connectors, etc. and restore the vehicle to its prior condition before rechecking for DTCs.
