PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: ADVANCED PARKING GUIDANCE SYSTEM: C162A: Vehicle Height Sensor Malfunction (CAN)

DESCRIPTION

When the parking assist ECU's self-diagnosis determines that the headlight swivel ECU (AFS ECU) (connected to the parking assist ECU via CAN communication) receives a height control sensor malfunction signal from the suspension control ECU, this DTC is output.

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

(b) Check for DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

Result





HINT
- The DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the lighting system.
- If troubleshooting and repair of the malfunction in the lighting system has been completed, DTC C162A will not be output again when rechecking for DTCs.
- If DTC C162A is stored frequently, duplicate the problem symptoms and perform the inspection again even if the DTC is not output when rechecking for DTCs How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.
