C1657 - Hybrid Powertrain Control Module

DESCRIPTION

When the self-diagnosis of the parking assist ECU determines that the hybrid control system (connected through the hybrid vehicle control ECU via CAN communication) is malfunctioning, this DTC is output.

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

(b) Check for DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

Result





HINT
- The DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the hybrid control system.
- If troubleshooting and repair of the malfunction in the hybrid control system has been completed, DTC C1657 will not be output again when rechecking for DTCs.
- If DTC C1657 is stored frequently, duplicate the problem symptoms and perform the inspection again even if the DTC is not output when rechecking for DTCs How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.
