C1662 - Ambient Temperature High
DESCRIPTION
When the self-diagnosis of the parking assist ECU determines that the ambient temperature has increased to a level that may cause damage to ECU functions, this DTC is output.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
- When "System initializing" is displayed on the display and navigation module display after the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point Initialization.
- Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the advanced parking guidance system may be needed Calibration.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.
(b) Check for DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.
Result
HINT
- If the DTC is not output again when rechecking for DTCs, it may have been stored due to a temporary increase in ambient temperature.
- If DTC C1662 is stored frequently, duplicate the problem symptoms and perform the inspection again even if the DTC is not output when rechecking for DTCs How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.
