C1691 - Back Camera Initialization Incomplete

DESCRIPTION

When the self-diagnosis of the parking assist ECU determines that the camera optical axis adjustment is incomplete, this DTC is output.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
- When "System initializing" is displayed on the display and navigation module display after the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point Initialization.
- Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the advanced parking guidance system may be needed Calibration.

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY OPTICAL AXIS ADJUSTMENT

(a) Perform the following procedure depending on the memory conditions to register the vehicle information into the parking assist ECU.

HINT
Before performing the television camera optical axis adjustment, the height control sensor vehicle height difference setting must be performed on the "HEIGHT SET" screen.

(1) Perform the height control sensor vehicle height difference setting Calibration.

(2) Perform the television camera assembly optical axis adjustment Calibration.

2. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

(b) Check for DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

Result





HINT
- If DTC C1691 is output, perform the television camera assembly optical axis adjustment again.
- If DTC C1691 is still output after performing the television camera assembly optical axis adjustment 3 times, replace the parking assist ECU.
