C1A70 - Power Steering Control System
DESCRIPTION
When the lane keeping assist system operates, the driving support ECU sends a signal to the power steering ECU to operate the power steering motor.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK FOR DTC (POWER STEERING SYSTEM)
(a) Check for DTCs Power Steering System.
OK:
Power steering system DTCs are not output.
NG -- GO TO POWER STEERING SYSTEM How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
HINT
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
(1) Drive the vehicle at a 50 km/h (31 mph) or more, and operate lane-keeping assist system.
(b) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
OK:
DTC C1A70 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU Removal
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
