C1AE3 - Front Right Center Sensor
DESCRIPTION
The front center No. 1 ultrasonic sensor RH is installed on the front bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the front center sensor RH. If the front center sensor RH has an open or other malfunction, it will not function normally.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
If the DTC is output after repairs, turn the power switch ON (IG) and move the shift lever to R. Then clear the DTC.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.
(b) Check for DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.

2. REPLACE FRONT CENTER NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RH
(a) Replace the ultrasonic sensor with a normally functioning sensor Removal.

3. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.
(b) Check for DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.
